Web3Wed Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Web3Wed is a blockchain-based platform designed for the digital identities of users. These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the digital identity) and Web3Wed (“we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding your access to and use of the Web3Wed website (Web3Wed.io) and any associated media forms or channels (collectively, the “Site”).

2. Service Details

2.1 Digital Identity Marriage

  • Web3Wed provides a service for recording the union of digital identities on the blockchain via smart contracts.

  • This service is exclusively available to couples consisting of a man and a woman.

2.2 Nature of Our Services

  • Web3Wed offers its service solely as a registration service for digital identity unions.

  • 100% of the fees paid by users are for the registration service itself and not for the blockchain records or digital assets associated with it.

  • Any additional services, including NFT wedding rings and blockchain certificates, are provided as complimentary (free) add-ons and do not constitute a paid service.

2.3 Accessibility

  • The services are available globally, except in jurisdictions where such use is prohibited by law.

3. Digital Assets

3.1 Ownership

  • Digital identities are provided with a limited license to use digital assets (such as NFTs) that are integral to Web3Wed’s services.

  • These digital assets do not constitute a separate paid product or service and are provided as a complimentary feature.

3.2 Immutability

  • Digital assets and records on the blockchain cannot be altered or deleted once created.

  • Users understand that once a blockchain marriage record is created, it is permanent and cannot be reversed.

4. Data Collection and Privacy

4.1 Data Handling

  • Web3Wed does not collect any personal data.

  • We use Web3Auth to create users' hot custodial wallets for linking wedding rings and certificates.

4.2 Privacy Policy

  • Digital identities must agree to Web3Wed’s privacy policy, which outlines data usage and protection measures.

5. User Obligations and Representations

5.1 Age Requirements

  • Users must meet the legal age requirements for marriage according to the laws of their respective countries.

5.2 Understanding Digital Risks

  • Users must understand the risks associated with blockchain technology and digital assets.

5.3 Prohibited Activities

  • Misuse of the platform for illegal activities is strictly prohibited.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Rights Retention

  • Web3Wed retains all rights to the platform’s content, software, and digital assets.

6.2 Usage Restrictions

  • Users cannot use Web3Wed’s assets for commercial purposes without explicit permission.

8.2 No Refunds

  • Payments for the registration service are non-refundable.

  • Refunds are only granted under exceptional circumstances at Web3Wed’s sole discretion.

9. User Content and Submissions

  • Any content submitted by users becomes the property of Web3Wed.
