# Litepaper

The first platform to offer blockchain marriage as an online service. Live since February 14, 2023.

Technically, this is exactly what it sounds like: a smart contract records a union between two digital identities on the Polygon blockchain. A marriage — permanent, immutable, cryptographically verified.

But we don't position it as a legal institution. We position it as a vow ritual. An anchor for love.

**What gets recorded:**

* Two digital identities (verified through Google, Apple, or social accounts)
* Names, date, and photographs
* The vow itself
* Two Vow Rings (NFTs) — one for each partner
* A shared Digital Certificate (NFT)

**What this is not:**

* A legal marriage recognized by any state
* A contract with obligations or exit clauses
* Something that can be divorced or deleted

**What this is:**

* The first functioning blockchain marriage service in the world
* A permanent record of a moment of love
* An anchor to return to when doubt arises
* Evidence that this happened, and it was real

**Technology**

Built on the Polygon blockchain — chosen for its security, low transaction costs, and environmental efficiency. But the blockchain is infrastructure, not the point. The point is permanence: once recorded, your vow exists independently of any company, server, or institution.

Including us.
